Welcome to this edition of The UPI Conduit. Like before, we feature a calendar of events, a Supplier of the Month, our current line card, and notes about our progress. We previously said that we have been and continue to change our Supplier base to enhance product offerings for our Customers. We’ve done some of that and have some more underway. In looking at our line card on the reverse of this page, you’ll see that we’ve expanded our relationship with the Aervoe Pacific family of companies which includes Crown® chemical products and Athena lighting products as listed, along with Zynolyte® metal coatings and the MAXBurton®, MasterGlow®, and SolaDyne® products of Athena®. Also new to the listings is US Tape, who manufactures quality measuring wheels and tapes, and has done so since 1876! Of special note is that we now have an alliance with Southern Utility Repair for quick turnaround of repairs on hydraulic and battery-operated as well as some manual tools, and also provides access to the Stucchi line of hydraulic couplers & interchanges. Please contact your sales representative for quotes, literature or more information on these or any of our quality Suppliers. We’re in discussions with several more Suppliers and will update you as soon as things are formalized. We’ve completed the early phases of our IT hardware upgrades, which has allowed us to also upgrade our systems software packages. Although much of this work has already been implemented without a negative impact to our Customers, more is on the horizon. We’ve added some key staff and made our operations more effective, with more account coverage than we’ve had in the past two years. We also have a new initiative that you’ll be hearing more about in the coming months. If you are currently a Customer or Supplier of ours, we thank you for your support and pledge to continue fulfilling your needs to the best of our abilities.
