Happy New Year! Welcome to this edition of The UPI Conduit. Like before, we showcase a calendar of events, a Featured Supplier, our current line card, and notes about our progress. If you’ve not yet had the opportunity to visit our web site (www.unitedpowerinc.com) please do so. We’ve updated it recently to include profiles of key staff members, some memorabilia from early days in the utility business within Georgia, and even some recipes and trivia items! We would welcome your comments and suggestions for future inclusions as well. As we enter this New Year, we face more uncertainty than would normally be the case. We have doubts about our economic recovery, our new administration, and what the near-term future may hold for us all. Although many of these concerns are beyond our direct control, one thing we can manage is how we maintain our relationships with one another. Business may not be at the same levels as in times past, but by and large, our business is still built on people and relationships. United Power, Inc. is committed to not only maintaining those connections, but also improving them. As we said before, you’ll be seeing more of us, through communications like this newsletter and personal visits. In the past few months we’ve more than doubled our active account coverage. If you’d like to see us sooner, just give us a call or drop us a note. Customer-centricity is our byword for the coming year. Customers like you are without question vital to our existence. Whatever we can do to improve our performance for you is important to us. During our visits, let us know what you need and we will do whatever we can to provide it On a “continuing efforts” note, we’ve begun an ambitious energy conservation effort with some of our Customers and will be expanding that in the next quarter. We’ll be kicking off a new campaign during the first quarter, which includes the provision of an expanded line of environmentally friendly products for your maintenance operations. We continue to expand our product lines and are pleased to announce the availability of Barfield to our card. More on this elsewhere in our newsletter. We try to understand our Customers’ needs – quality products, delivered promptly at fair prices and the expertise to provide you the correct solutions. We hope you’ll continue to let us provide this for you. We’ve always been noted for giving our partners a little “extra.” Now that we’re being re-invented, you’ll get even more.
